Nicholas Mansour

I received my BSN from Carlow University in 1994, I then went on to receive my MSN in Leadership and Education in 2012. Prior to the OR, I worked in home care and psychiatric nursing. I then entered my perioperative career at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in January 2001. I worked at several UPMC Hospitals in different roles, from staff nurse, team lead of different services, educator to senior clinician (manager). I have been an OR nurse for over 20 years. I am currently at the VA Hospital as the OR Educator. I truly enjoy my role in the operating room.  It gives me a sense of pride that I am helping others in a way that they cannot. AORN is our guiding agency, which supports us and our practice.
