Jordan King

My name is Jordan King and I have been an operating room registered nurse since 2018, most recently moving into the PeriOperative Nursing Professional Development Specialist role within Allegheny Health Network over the last year. Prior to this position I was a staff nurse that was promoted to clinical coordinator of various service lines. Being a coordinator was where I found my true passion for education and professional development in surgical services and ultimately led to pursuing my master’s degree in Nursing Education as well as obtaining my CNOR. I have been an active board member of our local Pittsburgh Chapter of AORN for the last 2 years, and now serve as the current Web Master/Social Media Manager. Although still being early into my career, I’m dedicated to creating an environment of positivity, promoting patient/staff safety, and continuing to grow as both a nurse and an educator.
